Welcome to the American School of Martial Arts and the exciting world of Kung Fu as taught by Grandmaster Don Baird. We are the oldest and most documented school of martial arts in Burbank, with a local history of almost 50 years. And, we have been enjoying our location in Palmdale nearing 20 years. Both schhols are continuing to make wonderful contributions to their respective communities.

In both of our schools, Grandmaster Don Baird encourages friendly, family style atmospheres and offers classes for pee wees, juniors, adults and law enforcement. Our current members range in age from 4 to around 80!

Thank you for visiting us. We greatly appreciate it and look forward to getting you started on your martial art path.

Established in 1964, Grandmaster Baird teaches traditional martial arts. He was a guest instructor for the California Association of Force Instructors in 2010. He is also a former technical advisor for the Burbank Police Department.
